Synopsis
Hibari arrives at Tennogofune Academy on her first day, only to find herself surrounded by students burdened by persistent misfortune. She quickly connects with Hanako, who suffers from chronic bad luck, and Botan, who struggles with constant poor health. Despite the heavy weight of their shared karma, this group of seventh graders and older decides to stay together. They work through the academic year attempting to change their circumstances and find happiness despite their unlucky streaks.
