Synopsis
Androids 2B and 9S carry out the 243rd Descent Operation against machine lifeforms in the year 11954. After destroying Adam and Eve, the tide of war shifts toward a human counter-attack. However, as fighting intensifies, the androids face growing uncertainty regarding their true purpose. Increasing casualties force these units to question the cost of their ongoing combat and the complex fate that connects them to their creators.
