Synopsis
Arata is a fifteen-year-old boy forced to pose as a princess to fulfill a thirty-year tradition of selecting a Hime family member to serve the Hayagami. When no eligible women appear, his disguise becomes his only protection. The situation turns deadly during a festival when the true princess is murdered, leaving Arata to take the blame for her death. Now hunted by the twelve Shinshou guards, he must evade the Imperial Court and clear his name while waiting for a real successor to emerge.
