Synopsis
The Redface Pox has ravaged the male population of Edo-era Japan for eighty years. As men dwindle, women have taken over traditionally masculine roles, even ascending to the position of Shogun. To ensure the survival of the species, the government prioritizes the protection of the remaining men. Those considered the most handsome are sequestered within the Shogun's private quarters. This shift in power has fundamentally restructured Japanese society and its gender dynamics.
