Synopsis
Saichi Sugimoto, a veteran of the Russo-Japanese War, hunts for the lost gold of the Ainu people across the harsh landscapes of Hokkaido. He joins forces with an Ainu girl named Asirpa to track down scattered pieces of a map tattooed onto escaped convicts. Their search leads them through dangerous encounters with military factions and various hunters, all while navigating the complex cultural tensions of the era. Every clue brings them closer to a legendary fortune, but the cost of finding it…
