Synopsis
Shima Katase has just left the Earth-bound foundation Stellvia after passing her Space Academy entrance exams. It is the year 2356, nearly two centuries after a supernova wiped out most life on Earth. Now, humanity survives within massive outposts called foundations scattered throughout the Solar System. Shima travels into deep space to explore the galaxy while working to prevent another cosmic catastrophe from destroying what remains of their home planet.
