Tetsuo Kaga

As the former president of Haze Middle School's Shogi club, this graduate maintains a detached demeanor despite his complicated history with competitive gaming. Driven by a deep-seated resentment toward Go, he avoids the game because his father forced him into intensive training from childhood. His frustration stems from an inability to please his father, largely due to his constant losses to Akira. Though he claims to despise Go, he still plays occasionally to maintain his proficiency.
