Forged by the legendary swordsmith Sanjou Munechika, this magnificent blade represents a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. The sword's creation began at the Fushimi Inari shrine, where Munechika encountered a mysterious boy believed to be the fox deity, Inari. With the deity's supernatural assistance during the forging process, the smith produced an unparalleled work of art. He ultimately named the blade Kogitsunemaru, a tribute to the "little fox" who helped bring the legendary weapon to life.
