Sara Nome

Raised to serve as the sacred shaman of Mayan Island, this young woman possesses the rare ability to communicate with ancient alien ruins through mystical chants and prophetic visions. While her sister Mao shares a fragment of this spiritual heritage, a childhood decision to allow scientific testing has left the island vulnerable to outside exploitation. Now deeply distrustful of outsiders, she struggles to protect her people's traditions from the encroaching violence brought by the arrival of pilot Shin Kudo.
