Though he provided Johan with his iconic name from a famous picture book, he remains the sole leader opposed to crowning the boy as the next Fuhrer. After losing his entire world to Johan’s cruelty, he dies seeking only recognition, pleading with Dr. Tenma to shout his name to prove his existence.
