A graduate of the 104th Training Corps, this soldier met a tragic end during the 850 invasion of Trost. While fighting alongside teammates like Mikasa and Jean, his maneuvering gear ran out of gas, leaving him defenseless against a surrounding group of Titans. In a ruthless tactical move, Jean used him as living bait to distract the monsters, allowing the rest of the squad to reach headquarters safely and resupply their equipment.
