Kai Suwabara

Kai Suwabara is a disciplined bread artisan and an apprentice to Kuroyanagi. A former swordsman, he traded a violent history for the craft of baking. While he strives to create life-giving bread, a warrior-like ferocity often surfaces during high-stakes competitions. He initially appears cold and intimidating, but his character softens after falling for his German rival, Monica Adenauer. Driven by a rivalry with Kawachi and equipped with solar gauntlets, he maintains a hidden, unexplained fear of heights despite his intense presence.
