Sumire Hanano

A first-year student and recent heartbreak victim, this Shiranami Society member holds no passion for the traditional world of Karuta. Despite being part of a large group of potential recruits managed by the Karuta Club, she remains indifferent to the Hundred Poets. While she lacks interest in the game itself, she finds herself developing romantic feelings for Taichi Mashima, adding a layer of personal drama to her life as a newcomer to the school's social circle.
