Akihiro Tsukuba

Akihiro Tsukuba is a talented student from Hokkaido who joins the Karuta Club during Chihaya’s second year. He enters the club with immense confidence, having already mastered the unique two-handed Hokkaido style of second verse karuta. However, he faces the immediate challenge of adapting to standard first verse rules. Despite the steep learning curve between these different playing styles, his intense drive to master new techniques makes him a dedicated member of the team.
