Naota Nandaba

Naota Nandaba is a twelve-year-old boy constantly trying to project an air of maturity. He frequently repeats the phrase "nothing amazing happens here," a monological quirk that contrasts with the strange events surrounding him. His inherent honesty makes him a natural N.O. channel. Naota models himself after his older brother, Tasuku, and spends time with Tasuku's former flame, Mamimi. He has specific dietary preferences, avoiding spicy food and drinks containing pulp, bitterness, or sourness. He is rarely seen without his Gibson Flying V guitar, which famously becomes the site of a bizarre encounter when Haruko pulls it from his head.
