This Kumogakure shinobi features in the narrative of Naruto's fifth installment, Blood Prison. Their mission involved a perilous infiltration of the Hōzukijō, where they were held as a prisoner. Maroi's objective was to locate and secure the Box of Ultimate Bliss for the benefit of their village.
