Satoru Asahina

This boisterous twelve-year-old student at Sage Academy is known for his sharp wit and observant nature. Although he frequently teases his close-knit group of childhood friends-particularly Saki, with whom he shares a playful, argumentative bond-his loyalty to Saki, Shun, Maria, and Mamoru is undeniable. While wielding the psychic power known as Cantus, he finds himself thrust into danger during a summer camp excursion where a separation from his peers leads to a deceptive encounter with a creature named Squealer.
