Mari Wakatake

As the sole survivor of the devastating Kamikaku Island tragedy, this young girl struggles with the trauma of losing her parents and her entire past. Raised by her affluent maternal grandmother, she endured a sheltered life of private tutoring until being sent to the prestigious Kaihou Academy. Although enrolled in this residential school for her own protection, she deeply misses the comfort of home and often struggles to mask her underlying feelings of isolation and distress.
