Kallen Stadtfeld

Kallen Stadtfeld, formerly known as Karen Kouzuki, is a complex character from Area 11, caught between her Britannian identity and Japanese heritage. As a student at Ashford Academy, she excels academically while secretly fighting against the Britannia Empire as an anti-Britannian operative and founding member of the Black Knights. Kallen's past is marked by family drama; her brother Naoto led their resistance cell until his death, and her biological mother, a maid in the household, faces mistreatment. A turning point occurs when her mother is arrested for using Refrain, leading Kallen to intensify her fight for freedom. Her seemingly frail demeanor belies a strong-willed fighter, often caught in compromising situations due to her double life.
