Aki Kodai

This character is the mother of Max and the wife of Dr. Taylor, living as a sketchbook artist and homemaker. She holds a somewhat eccentric belief, often feigning belief, that dinosaurs are actually dogs, a secret she shared with her husband initially. Later in the series, she discovers the true nature of dinosaurs. She frequently brings up amusing childhood memories of Max and sometimes addresses him as his full name, Maximus, often causing him some embarrassment.
