Ame-warashi

Often recognized as a powerful rain sprite, this high-ranking spirit harbors a deep-seated resentment toward humanity’s disregard for the natural world. While she initially approaches Yūko to task Watanuki with a rescue mission, she also serves as a protective companion to the Zashiki-warashi. Possessing the keen ability to sense spiritual purity, she can detect unique essences in others, though she maintains a notably hostile and cryptic demeanor toward Watanuki throughout her encounters.
