Yamaguchi

Yamaguchi previously worked alongside Togusa in the main office before transferring to the Special Investigations Division. His new unit was specifically established to investigate the "Laughing Man" case. While Togusa moved on to Section 9, Yamaguchi stayed with this specialized division, focusing his efforts on solving the mystery of the laughing figure.
