Hanae Ichinose

Residing in room #2 of the Ikkoku-kan, this boisterous, middle-aged resident is known primarily for her love of heavy drinking and her intense curiosity regarding her neighbors. Initially, her meddling nature led her to attempt to arrange a formal marriage introduction for Kyoko. However, once she discovered Kyoko’s widowhood and her genuine feelings for Godai, her intrusive tendencies shifted toward acting as a self-appointed romantic counselor for the budding couple.
