Initially a reclusive bookworm who believed only studying held true value, he eventually finds purpose through the strategic depth of competitive karuta. Serving as the dedicated secretary and match recorder for the Karuta Club, he applies his sharp analytical mind to the sport, discovering a passion for the game alongside Chihaya and Taichi.
