Renji Asou

As a protagonist in the third chapter of Ef: The Latter Tale, this half-German, half-Japanese student finds his life changed after encountering a mysterious girl at a deserted train station. Though both are initially shy, he forms a deep bond with Chihiro Shindo, the twin sister of Kei Shindo. When he discovers Chihiro suffers from severe anterograde amnesia, he uses his passion for literature to help her pursue her stalled dream of writing a fantasy novel.
