To maintain hope after his brother Sage’s death, he secretly assumed the papacy while single-handedly venturing into Hades' domain to break the Saints' weakened seal. Through a sacrificial battle against Hypnos involving the summoning of fallen souls, he ultimately met a tragic end at the hands of Hades himself.
