Alongside Genta and Mitsuhiko, she pursues mysteries ranging from haunted mansions to hidden treasures. While her naive nature is balanced by growing courage, she is best known for her deep, romantic crush on Conan Edogawa. Though she initially felt competitive with Ai Haibara, she has since formed a close bond with her, often providing the small, intuitive clues necessary to solve complex cases.
