As the legendary "God of the Sea" and ruler of the Ryugu Kingdom, this coelacanth merman governs Fishman Island with a surprisingly carefree attitude. The widower of Queen Otohime and father to the massive Princess Shirahoshi, he often wanders away from his duties, much to the frustration of his ministers. Though he is known for his loud, eccentric personality and peculiar speech patterns, he remains a serious leader deeply aware of the world-changing secrets held within the Poneglyphs.
