Asuna Watase

Asuna Watase is an elementary school student living in a quiet rural village in the 1970s. Following the death of her father, she lives a largely solitary life while her mother works long hours as a nurse. Her primary companion is her cat, Mimi. Asuna spends much of her time listening to mysterious melodies that drift through a special cat's-whisker radio, a keepsake left to her by her late father.
