Merak is a member of the legendary Seven Heroes and a longtime companion to Lufas. As a Heaven-Winged One, he currently governs Gjallarhorn as the Sky King. His high status follows a devastating defeat against the Demon King, a battle that left him permanently cursed. This loss resulted in the permanent removal of his right wing and a significant reduction in his former strength.
