Driven by a sharp intellect and a sarcastic, pessimistic outlook, this witty sophist often uses biting remarks to mask his true feelings. As a member of the Sheep zodiac, he harbors deep romantic feelings for Kisa, leading him to resent Tohru for unintentionally stealing Kisa's attention. Although he begins the story with a hostile attitude toward Tohru, he eventually softens his aggression through a mix of Kisa's encouragement and a growing, grudging respect for her.
