As a primitive robotic squid, this creation serves as the foundation for Kazuya's ambitious Doraemon Research Project. Though much simpler than modern cyberdolls, it acts as a vital prototype for the Maid Program, the essential operating system powering future AI. While Rena affectionately carries the creature everywhere, Kazuya continuously implements upgrades that gradually transform the machine from a basic tool into a sentient being with a distinct, developing personality.
