Rintarou Okabe

Rintarou Okabe, a quirky first-year Tokyo Denki University student, styles himself as a 'Crazy Mad Scientist'. Despite his intimidating demeanor and references to Chuunibyou syndrome, he's actually an immature adult. Okabe operates a lab in Akihabara called the "Future Gadget Research Establishment", where he creates bizarre inventions with questionable practicality. Known for muttering incoherent monologues into his phone, he struggles to connect with peers, ending conversations with his signature phrase, "El Psy Kongroo". As seen in Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0, Okabe's eccentricities hide a complex character driving the narrative through time-traveling mysteries.
