Asato Ichijou

Known as Ichio, this influential member of the Vampire Council is Takuma's grandfather and a figure of immense dread among his kind. Although he unsuccessfully attempted to serve as Kaname's guardian following the tragedy of Kaname's parents, he continues to exert influence by sending Takuma to Cross Academy as a spy. Despite his intimidating presence, high-ranking vampires like Ruka and Aido are bold enough to challenge him when his dark intentions toward Kaname's blood surface.
