Takaya Abe

Serving as the vice captain and talented catcher for the team, this fiery first-year player brings intense leadership to the diamond. After a difficult middle school experience managing an uncontrollable pitcher, he initially sought a more obedient partner in Mihashi. Although his loud, commanding presence can be intimidating, he works hard to be a supportive mentor. Driven by a desire to win, he uses his sharp analytical skills to direct plays and masterfully predict strikes.
