Professor Aihn

A brilliant scientist who abandoned Earth's technology to reside on a remote paradise among the planets of the Ulysses Nebula. He developed a deep, paternal bond with the pirate Harlock, whom he considered his son. When Harlock sought the nebula for Mayu, a threat emerged from a Mazone agent who forced the scientist to use his powerful devices against the pirate. Despite Harlock's survival, the colony was destroyed, and the scientist was ultimately killed while protecting the remaining children.
