Zen

Zen is an apothecary from the Yakushi Clan who serves the Nura Clan. As a poisonous bird youkai, he excels at crafting potent medicines, though his species suffers from a fragile lifespan that causes strength to decline over time. After surviving a near-fatal betrayal through the intervention of "Night" Rikuo, he became close with the young master. The two share a bond as childhood friends, and Zen remains a devoted ally to Rikuo through every hardship.
