Jet Black

Jet Black is a 36-year-old bounty hunter nicknamed the "Black Dog" for his persistence. A former officer from Ganymede, he provides a disciplined contrast to Spike's laziness through his versatility and work ethic. His career with the Inter Solar System Police ended after a corrupt operation cost him his arm, leading him to replace the limb with a cybernetic one and transition into freelance hunting. He relies on years of investigative experience and combat training involving handguns, netguns, and hand-to-hand fighting. Outside of work, he cultivates bonsai, listens to jazz-specifically Charlie Parker-and reads authors like Goethe. He operates the Bebop and the Hammerhead, ships that feature a Ganymedian fishing theme and mechanical harpoons similar to his prosthetic arm.
