The Young Girl

Driven by the need to save her Irish village from approaching English soldiers, a courageous five-year-old girl embarks on a quest to find the legendary Black Swordsman. She attempts to hire his protection, but the mercenary demands a specific genre of literature as his only form of payment. While the swordsman becomes lost in his new book, the enemy forces draw near, leaving the young girl guarding a dangerous secret that she must never reveal if she wishes to stay alive.
