Nino

Nino is an Arakawa resident who calls herself a Venusian. She can hold her breath for several minutes, a skill she uses to fish in the local river for the village. While she eventually becomes Kou's girlfriend, her forgetfulness means he must constantly remind her of things. She lives in a cardboard home and prefers sleeping in a drawer instead of her velvet bed. When she is anxious or upset, she hides under her sweatshirt on top of streetlamps.
