Ken Mayumura

Ken Mayumura is a pitcher introduced during the second season as Goro’s rival. Their tension stems from a middle school matchup between East Mifune and Kaido Unified. Although he functions as an antagonist, Mayumura secretly respects Goro’s confidence. He maintains a stoic, detached persona when facing veteran players, but his habit of retreating to a bathroom stall before games is a way to cope with intense performance anxiety. Driven by ambition, he intends to dominate Japanese baseball before moving on to the Major Leagues.
