Akane Ousaki

Akane Ousaki is an ambitious apprentice rakugoka and the protagonist of Akane-Banashi. Training at the Arakawa School under Shiguma Arakawa, she frequently prioritizes perfecting her comedic craft over her schoolwork. While driven by a determination to master her profession, she is also deeply compassionate and forms close, affectionate bonds with those she meets along her journey.
