Jouji Funai

Jouji Funai is a seasoned manipulator nicknamed a "Repeater" because of his numerous failed attempts to join the Espoir's voyages. He specializes in exploiting the fears and insecurities of others to achieve his own goals. During the Tobaku Mokushiroku Kaiji arc, he establishes himself as a primary antagonist by using the high-stakes tension of the environment to his advantage.
