When Taiki returns to the Twelve Kingdoms, she seeks ascension on Mount Hou, aspiring to be the next ruler. Her role as a sennin stems from a system where long-serving officials are expected to live long. Despite a developing bond with Taiki, she ultimately remains a loyal follower. Following a civil war where Taiki and Gyousou disappeared, she and her allies resisted a governor's takeover, eventually escaping capture to seek out the missing rulers and appeal to Youko for aid against a tyrannical regime.
