Kyon

Kyon is a cynical tenth or eleventh grader who goes by a unique nickname given to him by his aunt and popularized by his sister. Standing at 5'7", he maintains a deep skepticism toward anything extraordinary, including aliens, time travelers, and espers. Despite this distrust, his curiosity draws him into the SOS Brigade after being recruited by Haruhi Suzumiya. As the group's second member holding the "fourth seat," Kyon focuses on maintaining his composure during Haruhi's chaotic exploits.
