As a wealthy landlord of Jade, Hanford Grossum is a figure of intense hatred and suspicion within the community, widely believed to be responsible for the missing children. However, investigations revealed that Dr. Kyle was the actual kidnapper. Following Dr. Kyle's death, Grossum was about to offer gratitude to Syaoran, though they departed before this could happen. He has appeared in limited appearances, notably during a race in Piffle City.
