This character serves as the intellectual anchor of the group, possessing the sharpest mind and common sense among her companions. Despite appearing timid, she consistently navigates perilous journeys, whether traveling through China or allied with the Shu kingdom, always remaining devoted to her friends. In the anime adaptation, she acts as a key advisor to Enshou. Though she values her intelligence, she is also sensitive about her appearance and easily upset when her physical form is discussed.
