Kaori Ueno

As the leader of the Literature Club at Matsuoka Girls' High School, she maintains a warm relationship with Fumi, often sharing quiet moments reading and having tea together. She is a close friend to Sugimoto Yasuko and is very aware of her own popularity, playfully teasing Yasuko about his status. She often expresses mild frustration with Yasuko's presence in the club, as potential new members tend to gravitate towards the basketball club instead.
