Driven by a desire for companionship and a dream of owning a Persocom, this hardworking student navigates life in Tokyo while studying at a local cram school. Though raised on a farm with little experience in romance, his life changes forever when he discovers a discarded, human-like android named Chii in a trash heap. This kind-hearted, imaginative teenager must now learn to care for his new companion while balancing his academic goals and social awkwardness.
