Clare is driven by a singular need for vengeance against the awakened being Priscilla. As a member of the 78th generation of her organization, she began as one of its lowest-ranked warriors and holds the distinction of being the first to undergo the transformation voluntarily. After saving the young Raki from a deadly youma, she adopts him, recognizing the reflections of her own difficult childhood in his eyes.
